The Road To Hana
Aloha! Maui is a truly special place. I watched my first sunset at the beach in Kihea, and it was nothing short of spectacular. My first morning was spent taking the Road To Hana, which is a 50 mile long, constantly curvy drive at about 20 miles per hour. I’ve never seen a narrower road, and there are about 40 bridges that only one car can cross at a time.
We stopped and hiked to take in the amazing jungle scenery. The first wildlife I saw was a rooster, then some monkey’s! Toward the end of the road there is a state park that has amazing lava formations, and the famous Black Sand Beach. Truly an amazing site! Check back in tomorrow, I will post on my visit to the Iao Valley!
