While I believe that the Earth is much older and wiser than any of us, that she can heal in her own sweet time and at her own pace, and that she will endure no matter what, I also began wondering what I could do.

I could give offerings and ask forgiveness for my human brothers and sisters who are making such grievous mistakes.

I could learn from my own mistakes, and make choices and take actions that would have me living in much better alignment with the Earth. I could change my ways, let go of systems that don’t work, and begin living in a more sustainable and honorable way. And then teach my children that, and speak about it to others so they may feel inspired to do the same.

I could join with people, who need comfort, and offer up prayers – for those things in our society that are out of alignment to fall away; for people’s hearts to open and shift their ways if they are disharmonious with the Earth; and for the Earth herself, if only to offer the message “I hear you. I will look inward and shift my ways. And I bless you.”

The mere act of connecting with the Earth – slowing down to watch her movements and moods – causes something within our hearts to awaken. We are connected.

In the film The Living Matrix, there was mention of a project – the Global Coherence Initiative. After speaking with Filmmaker Greg Becker, he mentioned that this Initiative might just be doing some work around the oil calamity. I looked it up. This project, launched by the Institute of HeartMath®, can be described below:

• Increase personal coherence for the benefit of ourselves and the planet
• Help shift the planetary consciousness baseline from self-centeredness to wholeness care
• Increase connection and social harmony
• Empower our ability to navigate through global changes with less stress and more ease
• Empower environmental responsibility and stewardship of the planet

The Global Coherence Initiative will include an important scientific measurement component. Advanced sensing technology, now being developed at the Institute of HeartMath, will allow us to observe changes in the earth’s magnetic field and test the hypothesis that the earth’s field is affected by mass human emotion, positive or negative. The Global Coherence Monitoring System (GCMS) will consist of approximately 12 sensors strategically located around the world. This system will enable a new level of scientific inquiry into the relationship between the earth’s magnetic field, collective human emotions and behaviors, and planetary changes.

The GCMS will allow us to test the hypotheses that:

• Strong collective human emotions are reflected in the earth’s field.
• Groups of people in heart coherence can affect the earth’s field.
• Changes in the earth’s field predict earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and similar planetary scale events, in order to give people advance warning

Our long-term goal is to correlate the following: coherence-level data collected from the GCI community with changes in the earth’s magnetic field, along with changes in various social, environmental and health outcomes.

I signed up myself, and have yet to explore the vast information shared on this site, and have yet to enter into the Global Care Room where I can join others in Heart Coherence sessions. At least I can offer good, heart-centered energy instead of fearful and angry energy. Perhaps that alone will make the Earth’s job of healing that much easier.

The Living Matrix

OK..  I have been into healing and energy for a long time.  Even in my design days I knew that children would surround themselves with certain colors that they needed for healing,  this DVD takes healing to a whole new dimension and affirms the knowledge that I do have the power to heal, myself and others, or at least contribute to all of the above…  You have got to see this one..!!!

The reaction to the film was fantastic and the credits were treated to a standing ovation. You might be aware (and Rachel blogged about it here) that The Living Matrix features the noetic scientists, their research and the new science of healing, all of which play a key role in Dan Brown’s new bestseller The Lost Symbol.

Marilyn Schlitz, PhD, president of IONS, was at the premiere and was giving many interviews (I think she is going to be on Dateline in the next day or two). You can see a photo of her below.

The premiere was accompanied by a panel discussion moderated by Areille Ford, founder of the Spiritual Cinema Circle. On this panel were the film makers Greg Becker and Harry Massey, as well as Dr Eric Pearl, Marilyn Schlitz, Lynne McTaggart and Peter Fraser—four of the 16 leaders in Bioenergetics who are featured in the film. While scheduled to last from 9 PM to 10 PM the conversation was so passionate that it was still going strong when I left after 10:30. These are a couple of photos I took on my phone, and now it’s time to jump back on a plane and head back to Portland again!

This mention has the president of IONS receiving an overwhelming shower of media calls, and the filmmaker of The Living Matrix extremely pleased. Lynne McTaggart is mentioned, who also appears in The Living Matrix, and I’m sure she is finding herself rather busy too. On page 56, they talk about the consciousness project which is documented in our soon-to-be-released film Something Unknown, which shows that “the coalescing of millions of minds…effected the randomizing function of [Random Event Generators], organizing their outputs and bringing order from chaos.” As Dan Brown puts it, this concentrated human intention “[fuels] the claim that human consciousness, as Noetic author Lynne McTaggart described it, was a substance outside the confines of the body….a highly ordered energy capable of changing the physical world.”

The next paragraph mentions the ice crystal work of our own Dr. Masaru Emoto, concluding that “Human thought can literally transform the physical world.” The rest of the chapter speaks of how the discoveries of physics today have links to ancient texts and figures across the religious spectrum.

I found myself so pleased to see that the ideas and messages of many of our authors—new and not so new—and filmmakers have made it into the pages of a mainstream title. It makes the soul feel good to have been a small part in getting that out into the world. I hope Dan sparks more interest in these topics, leading people to look into these areas to decide on their own what resonates with them, and what doesn’t. The journey is absolutely divine.

I’ve also wondered how people heal from debilitating illnesses when modern medicine can’t quite seem to help. What is it that heals? I myself had a sore above my lip that wouldn’t heal. For months, it would remain, and it would grow. One day I decided I didn’t want it anymore. I decided that when I felt that itchy, tingly sensation, I would say to myself that my skin is healing. It’s pushing up to the surface all the bad, damaged cells with the bad code, and the new cells being created had the good, healthy code, and would soon come to the surface so that my skin would be new and healed. I did this for a couple months. I would tell myself that my body knew how to heal, and that it remembered the healthy, undamaged code. My skin cells regenerated often, so it would stand to reason that the new healthy cells would soon take over and create good skin.

Bit by bit, the sore lessened, grew smaller. Finally, it was healed. There was a scar there but it was healed. I spoke to my Naturopath about it sometime after, and he said he would have thought I had skin cancer there. I was shocked to know that was even a possibility. And I had healed it.

When I saw the film The Living Matrix, my experience really hit home. In the film, an idea is presented that says that genes do not play such a big part in illness like we thought, that it is more the information fields that surround us that have larger sway. When the energetic information that is communicated between those fields gets distorted, illness arises. And healing is about correcting that vibrational distortion so that it is communicating effectively once again.

I wonder if I helped correct the misinformation being delivered to my skin cells. It certainly is food for thought.
