Gifts That Can’t Be Wrapped
There is a great quote from the movie Woodstock, “There’s a little bit of heaven in every disaster area.” The ominous shadows cast over the holidays by grim economic news, mounting stress, and a quaking faith in belief systems have actually helped my loved ones and me detect the real de-Light in our holiday. This year for Christmas, we all decided we each had skills to share, and we all needed help. I need yard work in a big way, and two small trees cut down. My sweetheart needs pillows for his “new” sofa. My son needs some organizational help. My daughter and her fiancé need help in their basement and dump runs.
